Bought between the last few years at the beginning and end of deer season. Day 1, missed a stag twice, missed the same stag twice right! Archery's first hunting season. On the same day, later that same day, a second deer was let through. POOH! So I did a little research and that led me to this vortex. Other models with similar prices and specs only came with a 1-year warranty, and this babe has an (almost) lifetime no-questions-asked warranty. Besides, it was on sale. Just by experimenting with this, I was able to hit a few power lines at 458 yards (so a steady footing is a must). The view is also crystal clear. What a real winner! The default mode is set to Angular Range Correction or whatever you call it and it seems to work wonders. The only issue I've encountered is that this may or may not work in fog (depending on many factors). The good news is that I caught deer in the middle of late season, but the wind (30-40mph gusting up to 50+) and heavy rain/fog (almost horizontal) made it almost impossible. Works wonders when the weather is nice. I don't regret the purchase either.
