Nothing special about these straps but they work great, are strong and last longer than many of the more expensive leather straps I've had. They go longer than I need but are easy to shrink down. Simply take your scissors to snip off the excess length (you can cut them at a slight angle or in a V shape, just for style) and then run the edge under the lighter for a moment to trim the edge dazzle". so it doesn't fall apart. I made it and you can't even tell it wasn't factory made. That works great. If they ever wear out, I would buy them again.
