Many gave up because of the "hole". I just installed them on my 2014 Fiat 500L Easy and they fit perfectly. The unstated "secret" of the installation is that you must do the following: 1. Remove the mounting clips from the old, stock mats (with a little persuasion, they can be pulled out of the grommets). Remove bushings from new mats. Do this from the back to hide any scuffs. The pliers work. You can break them, but you don't really need them. These grommets prevent mats from jamming.3. Line up the holes with the mounting points on the board. They line up pretty well, at least on my machine. 4. Fix the mats with the old fastening clips through the holes without an eyelet to the fastening points on the floorboard.5. Viola (see photo). The back mat (one piece) has a slight bulge in the middle, but again I suspect it will settle over time. Even if not, it's not that noticeable. In the pictures I left the old rear mats on the new ones: I'll just throw them away when they get dirty.
