I use these pads morning and night to apply toner and they seem to work just as I was hoping. I read some reviews that said they absorb the product too much but I don't see that as a problem. The first time I used them I overdid it and got my hands and floor completely wet. I think they're just bigger than your average cotton pad. So if you really want to soak it, you'll have to use more product, but that's a little wasteful. I also find it best to wash your face before using them; they soil very easily and are difficult to remove. I've washed them about 5 times already and they still hold up and are soft even though some of them have mascara on them. I usually soak them in baking soda before washing (especially if they're stained) and that seems to help get rid of some of the stains. Overall I like them and maybe I need to get more!
