Review on πŸ’‡ Professional 1875W Ionic Hair Dryer: Fast Drying, Low Noise, Lightweight, with AC Motor - Grey & RoseGold by Tasha Fisher

Good hair dryer but ionic power seems minimal

Overall I like this light and relatively quiet hair dryer with extra nozzles for everyday use. It's a nice improvement over the standard dryer, but not quite on par with the quality of a professional salon dryer. The lacquered surface and the lack of inscriptions on the switches leave a lot to be desired, but this does not affect the functionality. My straight long hair seems to dry faster because the airflow is strong and the heat is not extreme. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed that the ionizing power appeared to be minimal. (I've had other ionic blow dryers that have noticeably smoothed my hair.) While there's a cold shot button to adjust the style, I doubt I'd use this blow dryer with attachments for serious styling. The reason is that when you add a nozzle, the barrel is too long and difficult to control because you have to keep it off. I might occasionally use the comb to detangle some areas, but I prefer it without the comb for reliable drying. Pros: - It's impressively quiet at top speed; does not burn at the highest temperature. Light weight and balanced shape prevent hand fatigue. A good directional airflow seems to speed up the drying time. Optional attachments can be used for curly hair (diffuser) and straight hair (comb and concentrator). Disadvantages: - no markings on the switches for the dependence of the air flow on the heating level; both look exactly the same, which can be confusing. Adding accessories to the dryer makes it a bit bulky and too long to hold in one hand. The ionizing effect could be better; Hair doesn't feel much smoother than with a non-ionizing hair dryer

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
