Simply put, this thing is just a placebo which makes you think it does something, but. I drove with it for a long time, noticed no difference. Then took it off when I needed OBDII for the scanner, and forgot to put it back. No difference at all. Same, if not better MPG. Same acceleration. It even seemed to be that without this chip, it shifts less erratically. Well, if you think that a $100 device can outperform professional scanners or tuners which cost many times more (by being able to change fuel maps for the engine in real time), you should think again.
