Well first of all I hate spending! The thought of spending $130 on an alarm to keep my cats off the counters was such a chilling thought. However, after I put my older cat to sleep, we adopted a kitten to fill the gap. Well, our other cat taught the kitten that there are tasty treats hidden in the garbage chute. (So gross) This obsession is out of control. They were at the sink 24/7. It was so stressful that I seriously hated my kittens. I was mad at them all the time and tired of seeing disgusting cat footprints on my counters. I bought these alarm clocks and the first day they rang at least 3 dozen times. Every time they left, the cats jumped off the counter. I laughed so hard when the eldest cat jumped down and was about to rob me and slide away. On the 2nd day they only went a couple of times. And now they only work because we forget they're on the counter and we fire them. It took literally 3 days to train cats (obviously there are more people). They are fantastic and worth every penny! Oh and yes they are just as loud as the other reviews. Don't let them get away near your ears.
