Although it's called a sun visor, I don't actually use it outdoors but in a work environment to block out (what I believe) annoying overhead light that used to irritate my eyes during the day. After it was fixed with simple tightening, all I had to do was adjust the fit a few times to get it right and then leave it at that. Now it is comfortable to wear. So I recommend these for both indoor and outdoor use.
