I am a professional video and photo producer and have had a variety of memory card readers over the years. Losing footage/images is our biggest fear. A little over a year ago I actually had corrupted card reader stuff. I didn't think it was possible. The camera read perfectly as I reviewed the hour-long 4K event filmed on professional media. Put it into a card reader which gave an error during the transfer so I switched to a different reader and the data was corrupted. Yes, those two card readers went straight to the trash. I wanted new ones and Zedela had good reviews. I have never been disappointed. The transfer speeds on our fast cards (CF, SD, etc.) are great and they always seem to connect automatically. I entrust my livelihood to these readers.
