I've only used it a few times. I'm still not sure if I like the traditional hair dryer or this one is better. I bought this because I love how you can adjust your arms to accommodate clients with long hair compared to the old hood dryer. It is very quiet but runs slower than when I use the vented dryer. Anyway, the reason I gave this product 3 stars is because Amazon or the seller lied to me that it would be here by a certain date, but it took a full week to get here. The item itself also arrived damaged. The wire closes the spot in front, if the bulbs didn't fit at all I was lucky, my husband is skilled he was able to fix it. Also, one of the lamps I received was already damaged and I couldn't even place it. With a new product I felt cheated. I left it because I don't want to bother with a refund. Works great in my experience but is slower than a traditional vented dryer. I like that it's quiet, but the orange light effect makes it difficult to see your clients' hair, so I always have to turn it off instead of just pulling it to the side for a second.
