Review on πŸ§€ Authentic Fred Acacia Wood Cheese Board Set with Knife, Assorted Champagne Finish by Tabitha Anderson

Great looks, limited functionality

Overall, I'd rate the Fancy That Champagne Acacia Cheese Board with Knife as more decorative than useful. Of course, this is a cutting board that can handle a medium-sized piece of cheese and includes a very sharp blade disguised as a bottle cap and neck. However, the table is small and if you want to offer a few cheeses as a starter at home or at a party, it can get tight. Acacia wood seems strong, beautiful and thick, but it can only be hand washed and is narrow. And while the knife hidden in the "neck" of the bottle is a good cheese blade, even if you're aware of the potential problem, it slips out too easily and can be dangerous. My wife and I often love the Friday night snack with cheese board and other snacks. The size is just perfect for us and the adorable bottle design adds a bit of fun. As you can see from my photo there is limited space for cheese although this can be considered good for portion control. It's really more of a serving/display item than a useful chopping board. Add to that the looseness of the knife and it becomes a bit of a strain. You might want to take a chance and I plan to keep using it. However, I wouldn't give it away because of the limitations. When used primarily for display purposes the Fancy That Champagne Acacia Wood Cheese Board looks great and is sure to impress. Fancy That is Fred & Friend's line that exemplifies their clever ideas that aren't always practical. You can cut your cheese on a separate larger board before displaying it here. For everyday use and with safety concerns I would look elsewhere. court
