The cream and conditioner are thick and the shampoo is smooth and doesn't dry out the hair. I have thick curly hair with semi loose curls. Between 3C and 4A for those using curl charts. This product was not effective on my curls. I used a lot of cream on my second try and managed to get some volume but my hair looked dry. My hair didn't have the nice softness for curls on the second day. I would need a refresh and this is almost a complete redesign. Not a product I would buy again. Maybe it is effective for slightly curly hair.
