I bought these after realizing I couldn't install my Samsung monitors. It allowed me to do just that, but there are downsides that I'll share with you. Pros: You can mount your monitors on a VESA mount. Cons: I find the price a bit high. Unless there's a sudden steel shortage, I don't think the selling price for this item is "fair". Again, if you control the market because there are no competitors, you can take as much as you want. The element then becomes "inelastic". More concerned about the design. When I bought it I figured it would help optimize the graphics on my elevated monitors. Unfortunately, this expectation was not justified. The base (and I mean just the base) comes from your monitor for this mount. You must install your monitor's existing arm onto the "leg" of this adapter. What else can be seen after mounting on a VESA mount. Also its help in my one screw. I'm not very sure about the security of my monitors. Overall: I would suggest that you do your due diligence first and get a mountable monitor from the start. If not, and you're dying to install them, then see my pointers.
