Review on 🔪 Bonsaii C149-C: 18-Sheet Heavy-Duty Cross-Cut Paper Shredder with Large Capacity Basket and Anti-Jam Technology - Perfect for Office and Home Use by Hanson Kendrick

I used to have Fellowes shredders. While they were good for the occasional shredding of small amounts of paper in my home office, they were terrible for high-volume jobs. You could hear them struggling with more than a few leaves at a time. Then when I tried to do a big job like shredding old tax returns, the job was very time consuming as Fellowes shredders would overheat after about 15 minutes and then take about 30 minutes to cool down. Bonsaii Evershred C149-C does not have this problem. By getting rid of the Fellowes 79ci shredder and using Bonsaii, I could finally get down to the dreadful task of shredding old financial and tax documents. I was very impressed. Although I tried not to shred more than 12 pages at a time, I found I could shred continuously for 45 minutes without a problem. Finally I stopped because I was tired. I'm sure the chopper would still work! So the task, which can only be described as extremely boring, has at least become feasible. I really like this grinder. The slot into which the paper is inserted is designed in such a way that the cutting blades are recessed. Unlike Fellowes shredders, there doesn't appear to be any risk of fingers being inserted and damaged, so a Fellowes shut-off feature is not required. Besides, the Bonsaii shredder is very easy to use with three simple controls on the top, namely Auto, Off and Reverse. Can't comment on durability as I've only had it for a few weeks. However, it is a pleasure to use. It's small and compact and easy to move on wheels so I can put it under my desk where it takes up very little space. I had never heard of Bonsaii before this purchase. However, if the device stands the test of time, it has a real winner here!
