After 3 weeks of use, I came to the conclusion that toothpaste manufacturers are in league with dentists around the world. My dentist told me that my gums had receded a bit and that I needed to floss more. I also suffered from painful and often bleeding gums. I switched to daily flossing from about twice a week, and there seemed to be little to no improvement. I've always brushed my teeth (at least) twice a day, and I still spit up blood when I gargle. I saw an ad for this organic toothpowder and thought I'd give it a try. Also, I had credit for Revain, so it only cost me a few bucks. I was expecting it to be a lot grittier, but it's actually very good, not feeling "sandy" at all. Flavor is mostly "blah" although I have a "black mint flavor" and can smell hints of mint. Pretty good. I made the mistake of accidentally breathing in air the first time I put a powder coated brush in my mouth and inhaled some of the powder. After that I knew better. I also know now that I don't have to completely cover my brush. A little over three weeks later, no bleeding gums! Even after doing a tough flossing session! BONUS: My teeth are whiter! I wish I could take a before and after photo, but I didn't know it was going to be this good. Yes. And now that he's seen how well it works, my husband is using it too. He raves about it as much as I do. We will never go back to regular toothpaste.
