Review on 🎧 Rift S Specific DeadEyeVR Advanced Headphones - Conveniently Attachable to Oculus Rift S Headset for Enhanced VR Experience by Christopher Hicks

The included 3D printed parts felt a bit rough. I was concerned about scratching the plastic on my rip strap it's attached to, so I made sure to install them slowly and carefully. After following the basic installation instructions, I noticed part of the cable on the left earcup detaching. You can see it on the attached picture. I assume it happened when I pushed the clamp forward when I checked the cable before installing and the cable was fine. I ended up replacing the earbud with another one I had on hand. I wish I had just used Velcro cable ties instead. Update: exchanged several emails with the seller offering a replacement as one earbud was damaged. Definitely had to give a star for the good customer support. I finally got around to putting on a second pair and the installation went flawlessly. The key was to make the head of the break as wide as possible to reach the narrowest part of the ribbon. Holding it open, gently insert the headphone holder and make sure the cable moves freely, then pull the strap up and into the wider part. If you can install it, the sound is actually very good and perfect for the Rift. Given the price and customer support, I would probably buy it again.
