For me, this bag was a great compromise when traveling, where I needed something discreet enough for professional settings but also for touring. (Does not replace a proper briefcase, but good for conferences etc.) Also good for everyday use. On planes I usually carry: a tablet with a keyboard, a leather briefcase about 1/2 inch thick, a small clutch/purse, a bag with miscellaneous items. Accessories, chargers for your phone and tablet, and a bottle of water. It's all practical - throw in a book or Kindle and it might look a little cluttered, but it's not terrible. The key clip is a nice feature. Mine looks great after a year.
