Sound quality with music is much better than expected for this price. Best headphones I have - I don't have expensive ones but I have some quality headphones and they compete with them. You need to install the right/tight rubber pad to get good sound, including surprisingly good bass. I've only had a day or so, but so far he's impressed. Battery life seems a little worse than my old Quake buds - I'll have to keep that in mind. Getting them out of the charging case is a bit of an issue. In this regard, an improved design is required.
