Review on πŸ“š Premium Folio Cover Case for Microsoft Surface Pro 7/6/2017/4/LTE/3 - Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard - Brown by Chakravarthi Ladner

Bought as the only option; surprised how much I like it

Surface Pro has an identity crisis: the keyboard cover isn't secure enough and when you want to switch to tablet mode, there's no way to do it to do effectively without completely removing the keyboard. When the iPad sleeve is opened, it slides behind the iPad and it's a thin tablet. If you do this with the keyboard, you cannot use the stand. It sounds petty, but I speak A LOT in public. The stand angle in the Surface was *perfect* for a runway. When it comes to cases; In all cases, the keyboard must be supported, even if it is mainly used as a tablet. As a result, due to the layout of the Surface, there are virtually no instances where the built-in kickstand is actually used. I bought this case as "the best option, even if I'm not thrilled with the idea". And you know what? I like it. I like it MUCH more than I thought. It was a little difficult to get in, but that just means it will be a snug fit once installed. The angle when it's open and fully tilted is about the same as the Surface stand, so it works surprisingly well on the podium. I recommend it. Fully.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
