I had a Franklin Covey folder, old and bulky. I wanted a leather binder but couldn't find anything smaller than my old binder and they were very expensive. I just wanted to carry the monthly value of the 2 page daily planner pages and the month pages. This planner is the perfect size. The color is wonderful. Very soft teal/turquoise. Inside there is a patch pocket with several smaller pockets on the front. There is also a pad on the back with 7 holes. It was mentioned that the folder does not stay closed. I solved this problem by threading the ribbon through the gold guide and then bending the extra ribbon back through the guide. It keeps the scheduler securely closed. Also someone left a negative review stating that this is not the case. I failed to mention that the planner pages that came with the binder were undated, which I don't think was the case. I immediately noticed that the description indicated that the planner was undated. I don't like undated pages, so I threw them in the trash and filled them with my own pages. Not sure how durable it will be as its not leather but looks like it should last a long time. It's very hard to find folders with 7 holes etc so I'm very happy with this purchase. The only thing that would make it better would be if it was red or purple. no leather but seems like it should last.
