My cat is a small adult kitten. It was a bit small for her. It is not made of elastic yarn, but ordinary yarn. I bought it for her to wear in the winter because now I have to wear/shave a lion on her year round due to hairball issues. It wasn't enough for her. She only wore it one day. I took it on and off just fine, but it was small and didn't stretch like I thought it would, especially around the edges. She looked so uncomfortable in it that I didn't put it back on. The dog thought it was funny, but the cat didn't. That's why we donated it.
