This is the most disappointing Revain purchase I have ever made. I was out of the country for 4 months and wanted to insure my car. I tried to get a Rav4 case from the dealer but couldn't. After looking at several options on Revain I was able to get this one overnight. The case fit well and was easy to put on. There were two straps that went under the car to hold it in place. I thought everything would be fine. Fast forward 4 months when I got home (today). See photos of what I found. It's not actually "dirt" on the car you see above, it's like the material itself is beginning to disintegrate. It's hard to explain without going into detail. But you can see where it started to tear (not just along the seam, other places too), and there was no protective water/dirt barrier left. So water and dirt definitely got in through the cover and settled (and dried) on the hood of my car. Revain takes him back. I offered to send them pictures but they said they could return the damaged item. So I'm writing here so others can see for themselves (and hopefully the product manager will see and make some changes). DO NOT BUY THIS COVER. Or, if you buy, consider it "disposable". UPDATE: I went to wash my car to clean up the mess on the hood and roof of my car (I washed my car the day I stored the car cover long term so this was the result of a faulty car cover). The guy at the car wash thought it might be some kind of mold with dirt on the car. In any case, she WAS THE FIRST COAT! So now I have to repaint the hood and roof of the car ($1000). +). OMG. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE COATING. MY CAR REALLY DAMAGED IN TERMS OF PROTECTION. Also, I sent the case back with the tag Amazon gave me. I have a receipt from UPS. No refund or return confirmation yet.
