As you can see from my pictures there is a wrong way and a right way to install them. The first (above) shows that the inner panel is not properly installed. The one taken from the top corner looks like it should be right, but it's still not flush. I had to adjust the switches and the drywall around them to fit flush. But then there is a gap between the switch and the bezel. It took a bit of adjusting the screws on the switches to get it right. I've attached another picture of another panel with two other smart switches. It went in a little easier. If you remove the cover you think you'll break it, but it's strong enough that I can pop it out without breaking. Just use all the slots and wiggle each one a little, not just one. I would recommend them if you are looking for that type of look. You have to adjust the position of the switches to make it look good, and that's just part of the job, isn't it? A lot depends on what your OCD can handle.
