I use it to mount my phone on my road bike. Strava and other travel maps are great for phones, and that's what I use them for. I use my cell phone as a trip computer and GPS. This holder keeps it close at hand. No more reaching back and digging through jersey pockets to find your phone, no more risk of dropping it while riding. Works with the included handlebar clip or as a headset cap. Both work fine for me. I like the clip best because the mount is off-center and the side is extended to hold my phone. I install it on the left side and the phone is closer to the middle. PLUS I can align it with the road and it looks more aerodynamic. laugh out loud. I will order straps to make sure I don't accidentally drop it. With my shoulder on the side of the road, I pulled the phone out of its cradle and tried to put the chain back on after the fall. This is the only time he's failed and it wasn't bad. I use this with a Motorola G5 Plus in an Otterbox like Supacase. The case has a bevel at the bottom that restricts the grip side, but that's not a problem. Great little holder. For this price I would buy another one. The quality is ok, it's not the strongest I've seen but it gets stiff when you tighten it and it holds up and doesn't rattle or wobble which is the main thing. 5 Stars
