Key to this product - RELATED EXPECTATIONS Supports only 30Hz at 4K (which the product description states) and even at 30Hz the lag is lag noticeable. However, I have a dual monitor setup and my new laptop only works with one monitor, so the only option is a USB adapter. Something like this should always be a last resort after you've exhausted your other options, but when it's your only option, getting something that just works is a huge relief. My secondary monitor is primarily for storing notes and reference material, so 30Hz isn't a deal breaker. I give it five stars because it does everything it says on the tin and because the installation was completely automatic.
