I hesitated to return this product. The iPhone XS Max must be placed upside down in the charging station to charge. The phone stand lacks depth to set up the charging electronics with the optimal space to charge the phone. I have a Lifeproof case which I was told is designed for wireless charging. I have Samsung fast chargers at home that work great, but you need to be a little careful about how the phone is attached to the device. If it's slightly off-center, it won't charge. That seems to be the case with this article. The phone is slightly larger than many cell phones and standing upright will not charge the phone. Upside down, that's true. It's a pain in the ass. Aside from that, my GPS apps take any required position when used. The reverse position in this case does not matter. The battery life in my phone is reliable. The phone does not need to be constantly charging. This compared to the difficulty of returning the product motivates me to try. If I had known this beforehand, I would have bought more.
