I wish I had read the negative reviews on this product before purchasing it. First of all, I haven't changed anything about my lifestyle EXCEPT this shampoo - no new meds, vitamins, foods, detergents, skin care or other hair care products, nothing at all except this shampoo. I also had no stress or lack of sleep. After a few days of using this shampoo, I noticed a dramatic increase in hair loss while washing my hair. My hair is fine, so I was shocked to feel large clumps of hair in my hands when rinsing. By the end of the shower the entire hair strainer (the grate that fits over the drain) was covered in hair. I was used to seeing a small amount of hair on a hair trap, but that was a shocking amount. This happened every time I showered and I noticed that my comb was filling up with hair quickly too. I worried that this might be the beginning of a serious illness and made an appointment to see a doctor. After I received a health certificate from the doctor, he asked me if I was using any new hair care products. I immediately thought of this shampoo and decided to search the reviews for other mentions of hair loss. To my dismay, there are several reviews mentioning this issue that I haven't seen before. I stopped using this shampoo and within a week my hair loss problem was completely gone. I'm so glad this passed quickly, but I hope this review serves as a warning to others. Of course, this does not happen to everyone who uses this product, but you should consider whether you are willing to take such a risk.
