I've had a Treo phone with an external keyboard for years, so when I got my Galaxy Tab I knew I was going to need a keyboard. Here's what I like, some of which may or may not be clear from the product description: * There is a power jack on the side of the keyboard: just plug in a standard Samsung power cable and your tablet will be on and charging. *Speaker Out A jack on the back of the keyboard ensures speaker cables are neatly tucked away instead of hanging down from above.*The "F" keys on the top row mimic the keys you would normally press on a tablet (Home, Back, Menu, "Search", etc.), plus a few other very useful ones (lock, internet, raise/dimmer, volume up/down/mute, music, video, play/pause, next/previous and some others ). * When pressed, the on-screen keyboard appears in the text entry area, there is a button that hides it so you can quickly get the full screen back again. You can put it on your lap and use it like a laptop computer. The keyboard has enough weight to stay in place. Required Cons/Improvements: * As others have said, it would be nice if the tablet could run in portrait mode to enable web browsing. I mainly use the keyboard when I want to write something in Google Docs or word processing apps. You need to switch back to the swipe keyboard (if you want). * No bag/case. If Samsung adds this, they'll get a lot of people to buy it just because of that - then you'll have a real "desktop" computer. significant.
