Nuggets Daily Treat/Main Meal Harrison

This product, like the rest of the Harrison range, is great for birds. Region. Keeping them in a western home environment is just cruel. But many of us do. It is extremely important that we feed them properly. Harrison's was developed by veterinarians who understand the science of this species of bird. I trust them. Our gray has been eating the line for 18 years including power treats (just a handful a day). She loves and craves Power Treats, and she will readily eat Adult Lifetime Nuggets and Adult Coarse as a staple. We also give her red palm oil to supplement the bird's diet and sprinkle it on some of her fresh foods. She gets fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs every day. She also has organic sesame seeds (just half a teaspoon for a few days) and some organic sunflower seeds, raw, roasted, shelled as a special treat. She never eats processed foods, anything with salt or cane sugar. The only sugar she gets at all is the meager amount in Power Treats. No chocolate, no dried fruit, no avocados, no coffee, no alcohol, no other junk food that people are currently addicted to. Nothing is prepared. She gets 8 hours of full-spectrum light under a special lamp and 12 hours of sleep every day. simultaneously. Between him and the outside world there are always two closed doors, in which no poultry can live for a long time, regardless of the climate and season. All of their toys are made from bird-safe wood, cotton, paper or stainless steel. Any other type of metal causes lifetime accumulation and heavy metal poisoning, which is fatal. We monitor the iron levels of everything she eats to avoid iron poisoning, which is also cumulative. No painted surfaces, no glossy cardboard, no dyes. Keeping such a wild bird, properly cared for and in good spirits, is an ongoing commitment that requires training and constant vigilance. We also have pet insurance so we can afford to take her to a certified vet if she needs care. Please do not get a parrot if you are not willing to do the best for it. For her and for you.
