Review on J.K. Adams Natural ๐Ÿท Ash Wood 12-Bottle Wine Rack by Stacey Bradley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

JK Adams has been making them for DECADES!

DELIVERY: Fast and very well packaged. The kit came with a few extra pins (which was nice) and it was packaged like they've been making this product for 50 years! INSTALLATION: It was easy to install and I used a regular hammer (not a mallet). This took about 90 minutes. I first assembled a new rack and then attached it to our existing rack (see STORY below). PRODUCT: It's extremely durable, which is very important to us because losing a few bottles to an earthquake would be TRAGICAL! As the bottles are placed in each cell, they rest on the neck, floor *and* on the sides of the cell's "beams". This is a much better design than other racks that only support the bottle with the neck and base. The shelf is suitable for bottles of various types. Bordeaux, Burgundy/Pinot, Chianti, Champagne. They all fit. It's also better than other shelves - many of them only hold one or two types of bottles. The shelf is designed for 750ml bottles, but we can store a couple of 1.5L magnums on the top "shelf" (see photo). We are very happy with that! HISTORY: I bought this to add to an existing wine rack my uncle gave me 23 years ago! Hell, the original frame could be 30 or 40 years old! We use them to store wines in our "cellar", also known as underfloor cabinets, so we didn't care about the color difference. It will be a good story when we are gone as it will be passed down to the third generation of our family. I'm sure our kids will be fighting over who gets it when we're gone!
