I bought these 5 months ago and wanted to see how they break in before reviewing them. I use them for work. I live in Appalachia and work outside. I walk several miles a day and wanted something light, durable, breathable and waterproof. It is VERY difficult to find something that meets these 4 criteria. So, here's what I found out about these sneakers. The first week they were quite tight and had too much arch support. I've never had this problem before and at the end of the day it was quite painful. But both problems disappeared within a week. They are very light, especially since I always had to wear heavy work boots. I was sure they wouldn't be waterproof considering they have a mesh upper. I was wrong. I don't know how they stay dry. Honestly, this is the most impressive aspect of this shoe. Rain, sleet, wet grass, nothing breaks through. They were thoroughly soaked. However, I didn't submerge the power supply in water to see how long it can hold water. Which brings us to breathability. The mesh retains water but breathes very well. FINALLY a working day without sweaty feet! I wasn't sure how they would hold up, but they are strong. Worn 5 months and still like new. I have never owned shoes made in India so I was a little apprehensive about that. There was nothing to worry about. As long as nothing falls apart. They offer GREAT traction on EVERY surface I've been on. Having bought over 6 pairs of quality work boots I am very happy with the price and functionality. They are also very flexible compared to any work boot I have ever had. They also fit very well. I was worried about not trying them on first but the sizing was right. I would highly recommend these boots for both hiking and mobile work. If they don't fall apart at all tomorrow I will definitely buy again.
