So I have this to monitor my food intake and see the size or portions I need to lose my weight. Honestly the scale does its job, works the same as any other scale except the app (gennec) that should work to track your progress is utter rubbish. First, not all products are labeled as "in the database", which is cool, but when I put in a simple item like a banana, I have a hard time understanding what that's like. t in the USFA database so I add nutritional information to the DIY part but it doesn't even work properly, I add nutritional information and it doesn't record what I add. Another thing, it only gives you options for g or mil as you type, and if you add say 163g to a meal and save it, if you go back and check it the info resets to 100g, and if you add 163g you want to track it doesn't match the actual food intake or total portion it should be so I literally have to go back and edit the DIY food and re-enter all the nutritional values, save and do it again for it even has to be three times seriously recognized that I need to add food information. What's the point of the scale, if the app isn't working properly I could get a cheap $3 scale to track portion sizes and just manually add the nutrition to Samsung Health like I've been doing all the time I have those got scale mainly for the app and since it's renfo i thought it would work just as well as the body weight scales i got from renpho but yes renpho needs to stick with their own app instead of using a 3rd party as the weight tracking app by Renpho works great. So honestly I'm disappointed that I can just return the scale. I mean I'll try it for a few more days and see if the app works as it's supposed to, if not I'll return it
