Silver is nice, I like that it's slightly matte, looks expensive and is very unobtrusive. Feels pretty heavy. Came with a good mounting kit, both drilled and glued methods. Perfect fit for my Dyson, makes it easy to use attachments. A small downside is that the Dyson cable is so thick that it looks pretty messy when twisted, so cable routing is a bit pointless. I'll probably use it for something else, like hair ties or headbands. The biggest downside is that glue is a joke. When I first hung it I used the supplied 3M strips along with some other sticky strips (knowing the 2 small strips that came with the kit wouldn't be enough), but after 2 weeks it still fell off the wall . It's better to just nail it to the wall.
