My daughter is the tallest in her class and I ordered her the right size for her age group. However, the sweater is too big for her and the sleeves are too long to wear to class. It looks more like a sweater for an 8 year old than a 4 year old. It's also a bit darker than her blue uniform, but she finds it comfortable and the material soft.
