Can you make it fit Toyota Sequoia 2003

Does it fit first generation Toyota Sequoia?. Not straight out of the box, but you can make it work. 3 reasons why this only got 3 stars even though it worked for me. 1) I ran into the problem of removing the old antenna wire from the engine in 90 degree weather, reinstalling the engine and fender trim, opening the box with this antenna, feeding it and. He didn't go all the way in. Too bad πŸ‘Ž I tried feeding him 2-3 times but still stuck out 4-5 inches. 2) After installation issues and with returns in mind, I looked for a replacement and found this to be a very genetic part available from other sellers for $13. Just search for the OEM part number, you will see options compatible with this statement OEM part number is almost $10 less. 3) I'm currently on a tight budget and a bit of time so I skipped the return and decided to try trimming the protruding cable 4-5 inches, knowing that if that didn't work I'd go with the Possibility of a screwed would return. This comes into play as this is the second replacement of this antenna this year. Last time I chose the AntennaX for the Sequoia and it fitted perfectly with no problems, unfortunately this antenna costs $30 and I was there in 3-4 days. ordered so I went with it based on reviews and comparability claims which are not 100% accurate. Needless to say I got it working, I measured from the rubber stop to the tip of the antenna, when it was recessed it was about 4 1/2 inches for me sticking out, I got the antenna from the end of the cable measured to 4 1/2 inches, it marks . I have a pocket knife and a flashlight. If you don't have a flashlight, it's probably enough to heat the blade on the stove and cut it at the marked point. I then cut the new end of the antenna cable at an angle to replicate the end of the AntennaX cable. Of course I forgot to take a picture of this before putting it back in, so I reproduced this on a piece of cable I cut off for demo purposes. Feeding in the antenna line was much easier with that angle cut off at the end, at least it was easier, maybe just a placebo effect but whatever worked. The antenna is now fully retracted. I wrote this in the hope that future buyers will read this and make the right choice. If you want to save money and be a little accommodating, buy a $13 antenna and cut it down. If you don't want a headache, buy the AntennaX model, and if you've already bought this antenna and are reading this after your purchase, you can trim it down or return it. Keep in mind that there is no guarantee your haircut will work out as well as mine, so proceed at your own risk. I've attached a video and some photos hoping this clears things up.
