I was a little nervous putting them on for the first time as I have very sensitive feet. There is a piece built in to support the arch and I could feel the edges of it. I was afraid it would hurt. The opposite happened. After a few minutes I forgot about it and calmly walked on. They are strong but light. Really comfortable.
