Product works exactly as described with a full tank but not as well with empty tanks. The first caveat is that this requires a fully submerged transfer tube, so it stops sending when the liquid drops to the last few ounces. Second, the transfer tube is long and wide so it works with deep tanks, but this prevents it from working with small tanks that only have a small amount of liquid left. When the tank was full, a push on the pear was enough and almost the entire tank was empty. When the tank was only 10% full, it took several clicks for the liquid to get into the long tube and the siphon would not start. I have two so I will modify one to work better for smaller tanks by cutting the still tube in half so it doesn't take as much liquid to start the siphoning action and I will add a rubber funnel to the end , to reduce the circumference of the tube when it is in the liquid to ensure a better air seal.
