Worked great. Replaced defective digitizer with Samsung TabE. The plastic tools were very helpful. My novelty was how I softened the glue to remove the old digitizer. I've read about several methods people have used with heat guns and the risk of damaging the display. The desired temperature was 90-100°C. I used a 5" strip of plain angle steel with an 8" pan with some simmering water. Soak the angle steel in water for a minute. Using pliers, grab a piece of steel and place it against the edge of the old digitizer for 20 seconds. Place the corner back into the boiling water and use a razor blade to lift the heated part of the digitizer. Go back with the tongs and grab the steel corner to heat the other strip. Worked great.
