I bought a Surface Pro 7 and like many people wish it came with a pen or stylus. I was disappointed that the pen was very slow to respond, barely recognizing the pen and only in one of the two pen protocol settings. The other protocol doesn't work at all. I took it to a friend who has a Surface Pro 4 and it works fine. My advice though, if you have a 7, save your money or spend it on a much cheaper pen as it doesn't currently support the Surface Pro 7. The manufacturer doesn't have it on their compatibility list, although logic tells you it should be there.
