Let me start by saying that I'm not an expert at fixing things to the wall. However, it was so difficult. You need to be absolute with your measurements and keep your fingers crossed for your stud finder to be accurate. I've tried mounting it on two different walls and failed twice. Even though it's wobbly, cats still like it, so it's served its purpose. Just be prepared to spend a LONG TIME to make sure all your measurements are correct before applying them and fingers crossed too.
