I love this bag and it's light weight. I was looking for a very light bag so it wouldn't be too heavy when carrying my laptop, handbag and wallet. Unfortunately the other bags were closer to 2lbs resulting in everything weighing around 9lbs per shoulder and it felt very heavy after walking around for a while. Sometimes I want to put a lunch or sweater in it and that adds even more weight to the bag. but this bag weighs less than 1 pound without the shoulder strap. I think the shoulder strap looks pretty cheap but the bag itself is pretty decent for the price and size. it fits my 14" (screen) laptop. The laptop itself is about 13" x 9" so it can be placed both horizontally and vertically. I have red and the color doesn't look as pretty as the pictures but I can live with that. The bag isn't waterproof but your laptop should be safe if the bag gets a little rain.I sit very comfortably on the shoulder with two handles or over the shoulder.I recommend this bag!
