What a damn relief! Now I have a simple retro phone that I can use to make and receive calls. Just like the phones in Bye Bye Birdie (Have you heard about Hugo and Kim?) No answering machine, no call waiting, no tech stuff we didn't have then and don't need now (IMHO). Contributions can be posted on my Jitterbug. What I don't understand is that the emergency number for police and ambulance is 999. Isn't that London? Come on, where I live the local sheriff will probably come after the sheriff. i love phone!
