Love love love this shelf! I was looking to finish my kitchen and was told I couldn't put a cupboard over the meat block countertop because there is a fuse box behind that wall to the right. I got frustrated for a while and looked for types of shelving that would hang from the ceiling and found them incredibly expensive and they didn't hang low enough from my 10ft ceilings to be practical. Since this unit is 6ft tall and you only need 2 screws at the top of the unit to attach it I thought I should give it a try. My husband and I put it together the moment it arrived and it was as easy as it gets. From the moment I placed it on the counter and felt how solid it was, I was confident that the two screws holding it to the wall would finally add interest to this side of my kitchen. I've included a few photos because while it's not advertised as being able to stand on a fixed piece of furniture, it might give some creative ideas to all craft lovers. I suggest putting the tablecloth on a large table and balancing it out by making the top shelf and then the bottom one. Oh, and use an electric screwdriver with a hex bit - for goodness sake. Keep calm Pisi! The instructions are incredibly simple and almost fun to put together. You really get what you pay for here.
