TL:DR - This organization gets it right. If you need tape, you can't do better. I ordered it because I was restoring an old typewriter that asked me for green ink. Satisfying these older machines can be difficult so I was thrilled to find this color combo available. Smith Coronas from the 40's can be spirited, but the spool fits, twists and spins well. I rewound it after testing it on the original metal spools (of course) and the results are the same. Wear gloves when doing this as these ribbons are heavily colored, which I wasn't expecting as they didn't produce the amorphous spheres so common with supersaturated ribbons. You did it right. Goldilocks will love this tape. In the future I will only buy all my machines from these people. An extra cherry on the mai tai: these tapes are made right here in the USA, not in some seedy sweatshop that beats their employees. Rarely does a purchase make me so happy.
