First of all this radio costs less than $30.00, secondly it works for all basic needs. I installed F150 in 96 to see how well this radio would work. I also said I was impressed and think this radio is worth the money they are charging. If you need a basic radio this will work just fine. Regarding the output power, let me remind you that it costs less than $30, I think it puts out around 18-20 watts per channel. With that said I will leave the radio installed for a while and will continue to test its performance and update if anything changes as it works fine for the moment, just gets quite hot when left on for long periods of time. Keep in mind that there is no CD player, but who has actually been using them for a few days. Update: 8/12/17 removed from truck and installed on jeep, still unpowered but works fine, needs a 4ch amp, now drives an 800w amp and two Boston 10" subwoofers. Acoustics surround and finish In general, the radio tape recorder is good.
