Our clock radio, which was over 15 years old, finally died and we needed a new one. It had everything we were looking for at a great price. Well, almost everything. For some reason the station we are trying to use is not set to an alarm. It usually just comes in to listen, but I don't think I have enough power to signal. So he goes to another station. Our second option is fine. We tried to place the antenna cable in different places. Not good enough. I like that there is a place for backup batteries in case of a power outage. This radio station didn't have AM, but we only needed FM anyway. The different brightness of the digits is also great. We found a setting that wasn't too bright at night. Easy to turn on and off for alarm. It was easy to set up. Seems to be well made and hopefully will last a long time.
