Review on Revolutionary Apple Machine from Progressive International by Matt Hamilton

My brother recommended one of these when I told him how I used to peel, core and cut apples by hand. I have two apple trees and most years I get a lot of apples. I didn't want to buy another device, but I decided to give it a try. I compared prices and products and this Progressive International Apple Peeler and Corer turned out to be the best. I got it a bit later in the apple season so when I tried the first few apples it didn't go so well and I figured it would be another device I won't be using. But in the end I found that some of my apples weren't being kept in optimal conditions and those that were a bit mealy didn't do as well as the crisp ones. I also learned more about storing apples. And if the core is off-center or crooked, the center punch won't work perfectly, but that's a minor problem. For the most part, this apple machine saves tons of time and effort! And my grandson who is now 6 years old loves to do it. At first I would just ask him to turn the handle, but now he puts the apple on the pins and can do it all under my supervision (I pick up the apple and remove the core). In addition, the machine washes easily and well. I love this device!
