Everyone has a ladle that they like to use for certain things. This gem was introduced to me by Homesteader YouTuber *The Knedy Homesteader! She used it a lot in her canning videos and I finally decided to give it a try. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. You can get almost all jams, jellies and preserves out of the pan effortlessly and without letting a lot of jam solidify. The way it has a more elongated shape allows it to scrape the rounded bottoms of our pots to get every last drop. Some will still gel, but not as much as with a round trowel. I would recommend this to any canner, it hangs off the pan reducing waste and getting the most out of the pan before it sets. Less clutter, less wasted time and more time to do what we love in life.
