I thought it was a small tube. Not correct! It's huge, the size of caulk you'd load into a caulking gun. My 16 year old kitten had a really high thyroid and was wasting away. The vet prescribed thyroid medication and an appetite stimulant, but he hadn't stabilized and was so thin that I was very worried. I would give him a finger or two a day - he wouldn't eat so I had to carefully open his mouth and quickly wipe the swab from my finger onto his tongue - and only doing that for a week, I've been doing so much. Difference. He has gained weight and now a month later he is on regular medication and feels great. At the same time, he didn't have an upset stomach or nausea, and his energy levels went up. He's playing with a tassel he's plucked from one of my pillows, mewing, picking up the tassel in his teeth and tossing it in the air to smack it across the room in mid-flight. So I'd say he's doing pretty well at the moment, especially for a 16-year-old.
