Not at all for adults. Should be specified for infants/teenagers. I am an adult with a very small mouth - this item is very tight especially around the upper front teeth - they do not fit in the protector. Comes in an Amazon bubble envelope, no box, no instructions, no accompanying information inside the envelope. Just a guard, in a plastic case in an unsealed plastic case.
